Pre-Listing Inspections
Pre-Listing Inspections
When you (the seller) are ready to sell your home and want to ensure the sale process will go smoothly and quickly, you may want to consider a pre-listing home inspection. A pre-listing inspection by The Home Inspections Company, (paid for by the homes seller or listing agent) will provide a written report as to the condition of the property. The report may uncover issues or concerns that might compromise the sale and price, and it will offer a punch list for possible needed repairs.
Typically, during most residential transactions the home inspections are paid for by the buyer and performed right before closing of the sale of the home. By moving the inspection to the beginning of the sales cycle, sellers are able to shorten the process by removing obstacles before they can interfere with the sale.
